Although the weather was a bit misty and damp, the Rayson-Miller Post 899 provided the community with a fine Veterans Day ceremony. The ceremony included Daniel Barnes Post member as speaker, Jefrey Mason Post Chaplin, Bill Rahn on TAPS, and Post Members as rifle squad for the 21 gun salute and honor guard. Rayson-Miller's Boy Scout Troop 129 attended and assisted in our honor guard being flag carriers and helped us set up and tear down after the ceremony. A big Thank You to Troop 129. Also in attendance and assisting in the ceremony were representatives from the Rayson-Miller Boys Baseball Team, the Bolts; a big Thank You to them as well!
Rayson-Miller Post 899 provide a reception after the ceremony were all could enjoy refreshments and visit the post home located in the lower level of the Village Hall.
We also would like to thank the Town of Pittsford and Village of Pittsford Officials for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend and be part of our ceremony. Thank you also to Bill Rahn, Jim Wideman & Donna Barnes for photos.
